To Our Dog Walk
Lions Foundation of Canada is a charitable foundation created by the Lions Clubs of Canada. Its mission is to provide mobility, safety and independence to Canadians with visual, hearing, medical or physical disabilities.
The Foundation's three Dog Guide Programs, Canine Vision Canada, Hearing Ear Dogs of Canada and Special Skills Dogs of Canada ensures this mission is realized.
Since 1983, the lives of hundreds of men, women and children from the age of 8 to 84, have been enriched by the services of specially trained Dog Guides from Lions Foundation of Canada.
These Dog Guide handlers from as far east as St. John's Newfoundland, and as far west as Victoria B.C., have experienced the enrichment of their lives through newfound freedom and independence and the companionship of a devoted Dog Guide partner.
Your participation in the Lions Foundation of Canada Walk for Dog Guides will help us continue to provide quality Dog Guides to Canadians with visual, hearing and medical or physical disabilities.
